South Coast Orchids in Vista

I have told you about the occasional orchid warehouse sales at South Coast Orchids...stay tuned because there might be another in late February or some time in March. Not only does South Coast Orchids put out some of the most gorgeous and healthy plants available, but attending one of these events is a great way to check out their farm and facility off Mar Vista in Vista. They also operate Sun Dial Farm next door that puts out beautiful lettuce varieties and basil. Thank you Endeavour for the tour yesterday and the beautiful arrangement. 😊Around The Towners, please let me know which of you might be interested in a farm tour in the future, and I will see if we can make it happen.

*Orchid tip of the day: Despite their exquisite beauty, it is surprising to learn that orchids thrive on neglect! They love indirect light and only require about a shot glass of water every two weeks.

If you have been one of the people who benefited from one of the sales in the past, have enjoyed their beautiful plants and wonderful hospitality and customer service at South Coast Orchids, would you consider taking the time to give them a nice review on google like I plan to do? It only takes a minute.

Directions: On your computer, open Google Maps and make sure you're signed in. 1. Search for South Coast Orchids. 2. On the left, scroll down and click "write a review." 3. In the window that appears, click the stars to score the place. You can also write a review. Thank you!

2017 is gone and 2018 is here and there have been a lot of newcomers on the scene lately, and we have to say goodbye to many as well. Here is a friendly reminder...if you love your local small businesses, make a decision and a commitment to support them so they can remain in business to serve you and the community.
